Installation

  1. Set up your app

    pnpm dlx comms-id init

    Creates your app's key in .env.local and adds the Comms.ID registry to components.json. The key stays on your machine and server; the browser never holds a credential.

  2. Register your app

    In Companion → Registered apps, paste the public key that init printed. Copy the COMMS_ID_CLIENT_ID line it gives you into .env.local. You need a verified website in Companion first. Never paste your private key.

  3. Add the component

    pnpm dlx comms-id add sanctions-screen

Usage

import { SanctionsScreen } from "@/components/comms-id/sanctions-screen";

<SanctionsScreen onScreen={(result) => console.log(result.candidates.length)} />
